Education

I graduated with a Doctor of Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from Pacific University’s School of Graduate Psychology in August 2025. My dissertation focused on treating complex trauma in transracial and transnational adult adoptees through integrating relational, attachment, and multicultural frameworks. Research and clinical work with adoptees and people of color has been a personal interest of mine since undergrad. During my graduate program, I discovered my passion for working with individuals who are neurodivergent, and/or those who have experienced attachment wounds, complex trauma, psychosis, and express personality traits. This ultimately led to my specialization in treating attachment and complex trauma, continuing to expand my adoption and cultural competency, and being intentional about providing anti-racist, decolonized evidenced-based treatments that are also neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ affirming.

Clinical Experience

In my clinical work, I support emerging adults and adults navigating anxiety, complex trauma, identity exploration, and challenges in relationships. Many of them have experienced relational and/or systemic based traumas which have impacted their ability to trust, develop their sense of self, and their ability to feel connected to themselves and others.

My training includes psychotherapy (individual and group) and psychological assessment in community mental health and college counseling settings.

Areas of Interest & Expertise

I specialize in working with BIPOC, neurodivergent, adopted, and multicultural individuals. Clinical areas of interest and expertise include trauma (e.g., developmental, complex, intergenerational, systemic), identity development, relational functioning, and severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI).

Approach to Treatment

My approach to treatment is relational, curious, warm, and gentle. I bring myself into the therapy space so clients experience genuine reactions and receive feedback informed by evidenced-based theories and practice. Therapy and psychological assessments are collaborative processes that are tailored to each individual, and evolve as needs change. I may prompt or suggest a direction to explore, but where we go and at what pace, is ultimately up to the client. Consent, safety, and collaboration are emphasized throughout the therapeutic process.

People can be a source of hurt and trauma, and being in connection with others can be healing. I often focus on how relationships, identity, and life experiences shape the way we see ourselves and connect with others. The therapeutic relationship provides a safe space for “corrective emotional experiences” that can be found in relational encounters outside of the therapy space.

Coping skills are incorporated (as needed) to help support management of distressing emotions, memories, and thoughts.
